-Short term goal for peace: spend more time with my old parents. Make them feel appreciated of what they have created.
-Long term goal for peace: educate myself on the real meaning of true inner peace and apply to my life.

PEACE!?
PEACE
Since the beginning of mankind, there has been conflict and unrest among us. Fighting, rioting, murders, assassinations, and war are all forms of man’s inability to relate with different cultures, ideas, and beliefs. It is our human stubbornness and stupidity giving way to violence, opposed to looking for compassion and understanding within each other. We use war to strive for peace under the false assumption that killing those who disagree will give us peace. It is a logical to believe that those who suffer the murdering of their loved ones will simply lay down their arms and accept a peace. However, it is clear that when given the choice between peace and war, peace is the more wanted option among the two choices. Peace is the end result of war. It’s also the state that occurs before wars begin.
Peace can allow for happiness to blossom, peace is a state where people are at their happiest and their most productive. Problems are solved by discussion and compromise rather than military might, and everyone may not be in agreement with each other at the end of the discussion, but everyone lives on. War is the opposite of peace, and a rises from conflicts. War is bred by violence, and leads to more violence. The energy that would be used to create and build is now used to kill and destroy anything perceived as an enemy.
The youth of our current generation has been exposed to war. They have seen the televised horrors of terrorism, and experienced the horrific images of battle. While we have always justified the use of force to end conflicts, perhaps the youth have finally realized that it is time to change our ways. We have the power to change the fate of the world for the better through peace. It is through our compassion and understanding for our fellow man that we can bring ourselves to peace. Without our compassion for one another, we are nothing more than animals. There is a better way to solve our problems than with a gun it is to use our hearts and our minds.

Central Asia Institute; Ideal Example of "Peace"
Greg Mortenson is a prime example of “peace”. Until this year children living in one of the remotest corners of eastern Afghanistan could only dream of getting an education. No schools existed to feed hungry young minds. But now a simple wooden structure in the heart of a valley stands as an inspiration of hope for a brighter future. Where transporting construction materials is virtually impossible. Greg Mortenson an American mountaineer turned humanitarian and an ideal example of inner peace, in my judgment
Were Is The Peace In Egypt?!
Those who previously protested for Mubarak to step down from his power over Egypt are now protesting for better wages now that they are being encouraged to return to work by the ruling military council, which now has power over the nation. The protesting ran tourists out of the country. As a result, the economy is suffering, as tourism has been a successful source of income for the nation. Policeman, ambulance drivers, and transportation workers alike are protesting in the streets for higher wages and permanent employment. Leaders of the ruling military council are striving for one objective, to have Egyptians return to work and to have the nation back to standard. If someone doesnt cave no changes will be made. As their main goal is to return to “normalcy,” Egyptians must realize that this starts with them returning to work. However we know that it would be very difficult if even possible to convince people to return their job for decreased pay. Until the leaders and citizens come to an agreement, nothing will change for Egypt’s

What Peace Means to Me
Peace is a symbol of freedom, to join as one and to understand human and animal rights. True peace comes from within an individual. Peace is a sense of happiness. When I think of peace, I think of a hippy running through a field with his beloved animal in harmony. Peace is something we have been struggling since the beginning of mankind. There have been wars ever since mankind. History will repeat itself because we humans do not understand the true meeting peace. Honestly and unfourtionly i dont believe there ever will be "peace" as long as mankind excit. In my view I strongly feel animals have a better understand of peace and respect it more than we as mankind. Peace symbolizes "Pure Love"
